Accuracy & Limitations
We aim for correct, transparent calculations. This page explains what our tools can and cannot tell you.
What the tools do well
- Sum letter values accurately for Arabic, Urdu and Persian text using standard tables.
- Show a full letter-by-letter breakdown so you can verify every result.
- Support multiple systems (Kabir, Maghribi) and reductions such as the digital root.
Things that change a result
- Spelling: different spellings of the same name give different values. Always check the exact letters used.
- System: Kabir and Maghribi assign different values to six letters, so totals can differ.
- Diacritics: harakat are ignored by default; enabling or disabling them can change how input is read.
- Transliteration: converting an English or romanised name to Arabic script involves choices that affect the value.
Known limitations
- Some regional or historical methods are documented but not universally agreed; we flag these as awaiting a cited source.
- A numerical value is not a statement about a person, outcome, or future event.
